Great little piece of gear.
5 Stars
Great little piece of gear.
Trying to keep this simple. Some reviewers are less than optionally intelligent. This will get you roughly a foot off the ground. One of my pictures shows the lowest loop. The other is the second highest. There are four loops to choose from. For whatever reason, they failed to even show a picture of this thing holding a hammock in the listing. One person gave this a poor review because it doesn't hang at high as they thought. Except that it only hangs you as high as Eno recommends you hang ANY hammock from a tree. The other common negative review I see is that this is too short for larger hammocks. Apparently they are unaware that Eno also makes hammocks. This thing is a specified length and not adjustable in length because the single overhead bar has to withstand the compression force so it can hold up to the rated 300 lbs. It's really meant to be used with an Eno hammock with the included carabiners. This thing is great for car adventures. It's too big and bulky to take hiking (surely you can find two trees if you are). But it is something you can take really anywhere that's level. Lay back while watching your kids play at the playground with something that folds into a bag.If you have a permanent spot in your yard where you want a hammock to stay, I'd probably recommend one of the solid piece ones that just sit. They're cheaper, and I'm not sure I'd want to leave this one out all the time. It has cords and webbing that need to be kept in good condition. So if you want something you can move around or take somewhere, this is your gadget.

3.0 out of 5 stars
Reviewed in Japan on April 18, 2022
